If you’re quick – and we mean it – you can save a surprising $90 off Fossil’s latest Generation 5 smartwatches as part of Amazon’s Black Friday smartwatch deals. These bring both the Carlyle and Julianna down to record low prices of just $205.

Amazon: Fossil Gen 5 Julianna – Save $90
Considering these smartwatches were only released in September as part of Fossil’s 2019 Gen 5 refresh, to have such big discounts this early is a real surprise. Of course, this means they’ve never been sold for less.
The Carlyle is the more masculine of the two, whereas the Julianna will appeal more to women. Both smartwatches are some of the most stylish Wear OS wearables available, which has always been the Fossil Group’s strong point.

Both models pack the top-end specs for Wear OS smartwatches with a Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. There’s also NFC for Google Pay and a built-in speaker for hands-free calling.
We reviewed the Fossil Gen 5 Carlyle and awarded it 3.5/5 in our review when testing it at full price. We concluded: “The Fossil Gen 5 looks great, has some really nice details and is an able, if not spectacular, fitness tracker. There are a range of features that will appeal to Android phone owners, but the distinction between the iOS and Android experience with Wear OS is still markedly different. Until that is fixed, iPhone users should keep that in mind.”
