The Division, Resident Evil 4, and more leave Xbox Game Pass soon

Xbox Game Pass is a monthly game subscription service that has garnered millions of subscribers over the past several months. It offers hundreds of games for $10 a month, and you can even bundle Xbox Live Gold with Xbox Game Pass for $15 a month.

Every month, Xbox Game Pass gets a lot of new games. However, in order to make room for those titles, older games leave the service. Today, the Xbox Game Pass app on iOS revealed that The Division, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor – Game of the Year Edition, Resident Evil 4, Saints Row: The Third, and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition would be leaving the service soon. Usually, smaller titles that don’t have a lot of buzz leave Xbox Game Pass. This has to be one of the biggest exoduses because big-name games like The Division and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor are departing soon.

The Division

The Division is a revolutionary experience that brings the role-playing game (RPG) into a modern military setting for the first time. In the wake of a devastating pandemic that sweeps through New York City, basic services fail one by one, and without access to food or water, the city descends into chaos. As an agent of The Division, you’ll specialize, modify, and level up your gear, weapons, and skills to take back New York on your own terms.

Experience the definitive version of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor which includes The Lord of the Hunt and The Bright Lord story missions, the Trials of War challenge series plus additional Warband Missions, Runes, and Skins.

Resident Evil 4 arrives on Xbox One in full 1080p HD with an increased frame rate. This revolutionary masterpiece features legendary third-person action gameplay and a thrilling storyline.

Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name. Their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute.

Ths edition of the critically acclaimed action-adventure has been rebuilt for consoles, featuring an obsessively detailed Lara and a stunningly lifelike world. Endure high-octane combat, customize weapons and gear, and overcome grueling environments to survive Lara’s first adventure.

It’s unclear when exactly the aforementioned games will leave Xbox Game Pass, but expect that to happen by February 1. Hopefully, bigger titles will join the service so that this doesn’t sting. Many users are reporting that Children of Morta, the pixelated adventure game, is showing up in Xbox Game Pass, but we weren’t able to verify this ourselves, but did see the listing on the Microsoft Store. Hopefully, Microsoft will announce more titles tomorrow.

Children of Morta

Children of Morta is a story-driven action RPG game about an extraordinary family of heroes. Lead the Bergons, with all their flaws and virtues, against the forthcoming Corruption. Will you be able to sacrifice everything to save the ones you care for?

What do you think of these departures? Do you play any of these games? Let us know. If you do play them, be sure to purchase them because Xbox Game Pass gives you a discount on titles that are part of the subscription.
