The latest development in Samsung’s rumor mill is a leak of official-looking renders of the Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra. The renders come from Ishan Argawal via 91Mobiles and show Samsung’s new trio looks in three different colors.
According to the report, and as you can see by the renders, the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+ no longer use 3D curved glass but 2.5D glass instead. The Galaxy S20 Ultra does have a curve along the long edges of the display.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 shown below in what the report calls “Cloud Blue”. We saw a hint of this color when the full list of Samsung official cases leaked – many of the cases were listed as “Sky Blue”. The renders suggest Samsung may be using a matte finish on its flagships for the first time. We also see that Samsung has eliminated the Bixby button for good.

The Galaxy S20+ does have a fourth camera on the back, which widens the camera box on the back as a result. The S20+ is shown here in Cosmic Gray, as per the report.

This is the first time we’re getting a more solid image of what the Galaxy S20 Ultra will look like. This one has a periscope camera on the back, and upon close inspection you can see a “Space Zoom 100X” badge. This must be the 108MP camera sensor that was wildly rumored and the we’re expecting to see 100X digital zoom with this camera.

The Galaxy S20 Ultra’s specs arrive in this report. It’s claimed to have a huge 6.9-inch Infinity-O AMOLED screen with QHD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio; we’ve also heard about 120Hz support on this display and the Infinity-O camera is a 40MP selfie camera.

It’ll be powered by either the Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 chipsets with support for 5G connectivity. The report claims up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage depending on the market. We’re expecting the primary 108MP sensor, a 48MP telephoto one, 12MP ultra-wide, and a 3D ToF camera. There’s also a periscope camera with 100x digital zoom, but the MP-count is not yet known. A 5,000 mAh battery keeps it awake.
Should these specs be correct, we’re looking at quite a beastly phone with an impressive list of specs. As such, we’re expecting a beefy price as well. The Galaxy S20 Ultra is reported to start at €1,349 for the base variant (could be either 128GB or 256GB) and a 512GB variant may go for €1549.
