Samsung and ESPN have teamed up to upgrade the football-viewing experience on the former’s QLED TVs in the US. Starting October 12, ESPN will live telecast select regular-season college football games in native 4K resolution as part of the “Samsung QLED 4K Game of the Week” campaign, for which the Korean company is serving as a production collaborator and presenting sponsor.The first such telecast will be the match between No. 7 University of Florida and No. 5 Louisiana State University at 8 p.m. ET tomorrow on ESPN and DIRECTV. This telecast is the first in a package of six college football games this season that will be delivered in 4K. Compatible equipment and eligible channel package are required for the 4K telecasts.
