Realme is recruiting X2 Pro beta testers. Company’s Indian CEO Madhav Sheth shared a couple of screenshots from the upcoming ColorOS 7 to entice more users to sign up for the beta testing.

If you want to be one of them, you’ll have to be quick as the trial will be open for only a limited number of participants. You can read this forum post for details on what it takes to get in (note: only Indian residents over 18 will be considered).
Based on the official update timeline, the Realme X2 Pro is scheduled to receive the stable Android 10 update in March 2020. The beta test will start on December 18, the same date as the testing program in China
The company is also preparing a Black Friday sale for the phone starting at midnight on November 29. The 8/128GB model will go for INR 30,000, the 12/256GB one for INR 34,000. Realme’s Black Friday promotion many other models, including the new Realme 5s, more details here.
ColorOS is also used by Oppo and some of its phones are already making the transition – here is Oppo’s update timeline. However, keep in mind that Realme said it’s getting its own branch starting with ColorOS 7, so some differences are expected.
