The Reno series smartphones that Oppo has launched so far come with notched screens or elevating selfie cameras, but it looks like the Reno 3 arriving next month will sport a punch hole display.
An alleged screenshot of the Reno 3 that leaked out of China has empty space at the top on the left side, suggesting the smartphone’s display will have a hole in the top-left corner.
We are unable to verify the authenticity of the image so don’t take it for a done deal. Still, if it’s legit it shows the Reno 3 coming with dual-mode 5G – a feature the company confirmed at the launch of ColorOS 7 in China last week.
An alleged specs sheet of the Reno 3 leaked earlier this month revealed the smartphone will be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 735 SoC which will be paired with 8GB RAM and come in two storage options – 128GB and 256GB.
The smartphone will feature a 6.5″ FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED screen and it will pack a 4,500 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
The Reno 3 will also have a 32MP selfie snapper along with a quad camera setup on the back with a 60MP primary sensor.
