New Verizon Fios customers now get free Google Stadia Premiere Edition

Just last week, British Telecom became the first European ISP to offer a free Google Stadia membership for customers. Today, Verizon is announcing a similar partnership with the game streaming service from Google.

Starting January 29, Verizon Fios (Verizon’s home-broadband service provider) will begin offering a Google Stadia promotion for new customers who sign up for Fios Gigabit. New customers will be eligible for a free Stadia Premiere Edition welcome kit with the Wi-Fi controller, a Google Chromecast Ultra, and three free months of Stadia Pro membership that offers game streaming up to 4K @ 60 fps.

Verizon Fios Gigabit packages start at $79.99 and includes a Wi-Fi 6 -compatible router, and includes one free month of YouTube TV. As a reminder, those on Fios Mix and Match plans bundled with TV qualify for a free year of Disney+ subscription.

Verizon is also excited to announce Stadia promotions for Verizon 5G Home customers soon.
