Monster Hunter: World ‘2-Year Anniversary Celebration’ announced

Recently, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne launched on PC. The game not only adds a massive new region, but there are plenty of monsters and other surprises thrown in there. It feels more like a sequel than an expansion.

Today, the Monster Hunter: World Twitter account said that there’s a “2-Year Anniversary Celebration” event coming to the game soon. It features new special quests, layered armor, and more. The event starts in one week on all platforms.

Monster Hunter: World is also available through Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One and doesn’t include the Iceborne expansion. If you’re unsure you want to purchase the title, you can always try it out on Xbox One. In my opinion, it’s one of the best games of this generation despite the fact that the plot is somewhat convoluted and the voice acting is downright bizarre.

In Windows Central’s review, Jordan Palmer wrote, “Monster Hunter World is a complex game, with Iceborne bumping up the challenge considerably, but with perseverance and practice, anyone can overcome this, and wind up addicted.”
