Microsoft announces two products to help retailers optimize sales

Microsoft announced two new services to help companies optimize their sales and marketing efforts. Microsoft PromoteIQ integrates with Microsoft Advertising and delivers analytics to show brand insights. Microsoft Bing for Commerce uses artificial intelligence and can help businesses gain insights regarding searches on websites. Microsoft PromoteIQ is available now, and Microsoft Bing for Commerce is currently available in preview. Microsoft shares more details about both services in a new blog post.

Microsoft PromoteIQ delivers end-to-end commerce marketing platform, according to Microsoft. It includes an analytics suite that helps brand managers identify sales lifts. It can also work with Microsoft Advertising. Microsoft states that “Microsoft PromoteIQ helps make it easy by delivering an end-to-end commerce marketing platform with enterprise-grade capabilities to manage and scale vendor-funded digital marketing — whether on-site or off-site.”

Microsoft Bing for Commerce uses AI to help businesses gain insights regarding product searches. It works alongside Bing Intelligence and Microsoft AI, which can gain insights for searches on company websites. Microsoft summarizes the new service in its blog post, “Microsoft Bing for Commerce is an intelligent search, personalization and product recommendation solution that helps gives retailers the power to meet today’s shopper expectations and grow revenue, thanks to more relevant and customized results that drive conversions.”
