Halo TV series gives press a sneak peek at Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief

According to a report by IGN, reporters who attended the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena, CA were given a first look at Halo TV show star Pablo Schreiber in-character as the Master Chief. The image, however, is currently being kept away from the public by Showtime for now. Thankfully, IGN’s coverage does give some insight into what the still depicts.

Reportedly, the photo showcases Schreiber in full armor (including helmet) sitting in some type of a ship, alone. Though the article does not go into any more detail, IGN’s David Griffin notably gives the sneak peek image some high praise:

Everything from Schreiber’s detailed costume to the inside of the vessel feels very authentic to the Halo video game franchise.

Back in November 2019, it was announced by Microsoft that the Halo TV show was ready to begin and that it’s set to release in 2021. Gary Levine, the President of Entertainment at Showtime, did not give any form of update on this matter during the showcase. However, he did say that production had officially begun in Budapest, Hungary.

It sounds like things are going smoothly so far with the TV show’s production, and with any luck, we’ll get to see Pablo Schreiber in his MJOLNIR armor soon.
