Samsung has released a new Android 10 beta update for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. This is the sixth Android 10 beta for the Galaxy S9 duo and comes with software version G96*XXU7ZTA9; it’s rolling out in India at this time but should soon be available in other countries where the Galaxy S9 One UI 2.0 beta program was launched. Like the last beta update, this one includes the January 2020 security patch. The new beta brings a handful of bug fixesand updates the Camera app to a newer version. It remains to be seen if these will be the last few bugs that need fixing before the stable Android 10 update starts rolling out. The Galaxy S9 beta program has been proceeding noticeably slower than the beta program for the Galaxy Note 9, but with Samsung’s roadmap pointing at a January release for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ Android 10 update, it’s certainly possible that this will be the final beta update.Of course, that’s just speculation, and Samsung may well need to release a couple of more betas before it can push the final Android 10 build to users. For now, if you’re enrolled in the beta program, you can download the latest beta over the air by tapping the Download and install option under the Software update menu of your phone’s Settings app.
