Galaxy S20 camera specs to include 64MP telephoto camera

The Galaxy S20 leaks continue to flow: Mere hours after a report detailed all the camera features we could see on Samsung’s upcoming flagship, leakster Ice universe has tweeted out the resolutions for the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra cameras. The Galaxy S20 and S20+ will reportedly have a 12MP main camera, a 64MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, while the Galaxy S20 Ultra is said to have a 108MP main camera, 48MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.Recent rumors had claimed that the 108MP camera would only be seen on the Galaxy S20 Ultra, but it seems that will not be the only difference between the cameras on the three Galaxy S20 models. The telephoto sensors on the Galaxy S20 and S20+ have a higher megapixel count, and they will reportedly offer 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. The zoom capabilities of the S20 Ultra will be considerably better – the phone is said to use the 108MP main camera and 48MP telephoto camera in conjunction to enable up to 100x zoom. Most interesting, perhaps, is the downgrade in megapixel count for the ultra-wide camera. The Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note 10, and Galaxy Fold feature 16MP ultra-wide cameras, and we wonder if the shift to a 12MP sensor will make a lot of difference to picture quality when taking ultra-wide shots. As expected, the fourth rear camera will be a ToF sensor but will only be present on the Plus and Ultra models; the standard Galaxy S20 will have a triple camera setup like the Galaxy Note 10.
