Samsung will once again be taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Fold in India today, starting at 12 PM. Pre-bookings for the Galaxy Fold first opened in India on October 4; Samsung managed to sell 1,600 units in 30 minutes, which was all the stock the company had for the device in the country. Like before, Samsung will require the customer to pay the full price of the Galaxy Fold while pre-booking it.India is one of the costliest places to buy the Galaxy Fold, thanks to the price tag of Rs. 1,65,000 (~$2320). The price for the discounted screen replacement in the first year of ownership is similar to other markets, however – Galaxy Fold owners will have to pay Rs. 10,500 (~$148) for the first screen repair/replacement. Buyers will get access to a dedicated expert on call 24×7, and orders will be delivered to their doorstep by a concierge who will help them get their Fold set up and talk them though its highlights and the care it requires in day-to-day usage.Only Samsung’s official website and offline stores will be taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Fold in India. It remains to be seen how many units the Korean giant will bring to the country for the second sale, but it’s likely to be limited as before so you should be quick with placing an order if you want to get your hands on Samsung’s foldable phone.
