Chief Marketing Officer Jerret West returns to Xbox

If you followed Microsoft and Xbox during the Xbox 360 era, you may remember Jerret West as the Director of Marketing. In 2011, he left his role at Xbox to become the Vice President of Digital Marketing at American Express, and then joined Netflix in a similar capacity. Well, in December 2019, West left Netflix and came back to Xbox.

Jerret West, Former Vice President/Head of Marketing at Netflix, rejoins Microsoft as Chief Marketing Officer at Xbox. His team develops marketing plans for games, hardware & services (Game Pass) across the division. His new title is Chief Marketing Officer. Hopefully, he’ll be able to lead the team in the right direction since the Xbox Series X is around the corner.

Huge shoutout to Twitter user “Klobrille” for finding the LinkedIn tip.
