As you may have noticed, there are a lot of Black Friday deals around. That said, rarely does one offer come by that basically takes a high-end smartphone that still has up-to-date specs and cuts its price down to the level of a mid-ranger.
This is one of those though. Amazon is currently selling the LG G8 ThinQ for just $399.99. That’s a whopping $450 off the phone’s introductory price. One caveat is that you only have a few more hours to take advantage of this crazy low price point. The other caveat is that the handset comes with a “pre-installed selection of Amazon apps”, including Shopping, Music, Audible, and Alexa.
So yes, it’s the Amazon Exclusive version of the device. Still, it comes unlocked and you can use it on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket, and Metro, as well as pretty much every other carrier in the US.
The G8 ThinQ boasts a 6.1″ 1440×3120 P-OLED touchscreen, the Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, a dual rear camera system (12 MP standard + 16 MP ultrawide), an 8 MP selfie snapper accompanied by a front-facing ToF 3D camera, and a 3,500 mAh battery with 21W fast charging. It runs Android 9 Pie.
