Best Xbox One games coming soon: Pillars of Eternity II and more


Every week, numerous games launch on Xbox One, but which ones truly stand out? Here are some of the biggest and most anticipated titles launching across Microsoft’s platforms next week. We have a few new smaller releases on Xbox One, but there are still a few surprises here and there. Notably, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is finally launching on the console, and Journey to the Savage Planet offers an interesting take on the first-person shooter genre. With that in mind, here are all the best games launching next week, between January 27 and 31.

Welcome to the Pioneer Program! In this upbeat and colorful, co-op adventure game, you play as the newest recruit to Kindred Aerospace. Dropped onto an uncharted planet with little equipment and no real plan, you must explore, catalog alien flora and fauna and determine if this planet is fit for human habitation. But perhaps you are not the first to set foot here.

Journey to the Savage Planet should launch on January 28, priced at $30. The game appears to be Xbox One X Enhanced based on early analyses.
