Audio-Technica is the latest company to offer its own truly wireless (TWS) earbuds with the brand new QuietPoint ANC300TW. The Japanese audio maker took to CES to announce the earbuds which come with hybrid active noise-canceling (ANC) and IPX2 water-resistance and pair over Bluetooth 5.0.
Each earbud packs a 5.8 mm driver as well as two microphones that use Qualcomm’s Clear Voice Capture to ensure optimal noise cancellation. Users can pick from three distinct noise-canceling profiles which include Airplane for isolating low-frequency sounds, On-the-Go for street noise and Office/Study which responds to noise in quiet environments.
The earbuds also support Qualcomm TrueWireless Stereo Plus, which ensures optimal audio stream without disruptions or audio latency. Battery life is rated at 4.5 hours of playback while the carrying/charging case provides an additional 13.5 hours. The earbuds can detect when you remove them from the case and automatically turn on. The case itself charges over a Type-C connector which is quite handy.
The ANC300TW are expected to launch this spring for $230.
